On June 13, 2025, Asahi BuildingーWall CO.,LTD. (AGB) and the AGB Disaster Prevention Council jointly hosted the Safety Convention 2025.
AGB regards this convention as an important annual opportunity to share safety awareness with its subcontractors and to deepen mutual understanding and cooperation.
The event began with a moment of silence for those who lost their lives in work-related accidents, followed by greetings from the chairman of the AGB Accident Prevention Council and our representative director, safety awards, and a lecture by the chief of the Ueno Labor Standards Inspection Office.
The AGB Accident Prevention Council Safety Convention for 2025
This year’s conference was redesigned to be more of a “Training Session” than in previous years, and to be a learning opportunity in line with changes in the social background and legal system.
The program covered the following topics
– Training on the revised Construction Industry Law
– Training on the workers’ compensation insurance system
– Introduction of the educational assistance system promoted by the AGB Accident Prevention Association
The materials used in the training sessions will be shared with AGB disaster prevention association member companies via e-mail newsletter and with AGB employees via the company intranet. We will create an environment in which those who were unable to attend the conference on the day of the event can take advantage of this opportunity to learn about safety.
AGB is involved in every step of the facade process, from planning to design, manufacturing, and construction. One of our most important responsibilities is to ensure safety during the final stage of construction management. To ensure that the intentions drawn up at the design stage are successfully realized in the field, we regard safety management as a part of manufacturing and work diligently to ensure that it is carried out.
The training sessions at this convention are aimed at building a mutually beneficial relationship with our partner companies, based on the principles of “an environment in which all employees and partner companies can move forward” and “working socially and actively,” as stated in AGB’s SDGs declaration. The program was implemented not only to raise the safety awareness of individual companies, but also as an initiative aimed at adding value to the entire supply chain.
AGB and the AGB Accident Prevention Council will continue to expand the circle of co-creation and trust in the construction industry based on safety and education.
