We held a joint lecture by three companies on the field of exterior finishes at Toyo University.

On May 18, 2026, Asahi Building Wall Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “AGB”) held a joint lecture with two other companies on the topic of exterior finishes at the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Toyo University.

This lecture was organized under the guidance of Associate Professor Shuhei Tazawa of the university with the aim of deepening students’ understanding of building exteriors. On the day of the event, three companies—Takahashi Curtain Wall Industries Co., Ltd., Kikukawa Industries Co., Ltd., and AGB—delivered lectures from the perspectives of their respective areas of expertise. Approximately 80 students attended.

Yasuaki Iwasaki, Executive Officer of the Proposal Department at AGB, took the stage and presented on exterior finishes—with a focus on glass—using actual case studies.

During the lecture, companies specializing in different materials and technologies—such as concrete, metal, and glass—explained building exteriors from their respective perspectives, providing students with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the field of building exteriors.

AGB will continue its efforts to share practical, real-world insights with society through collaboration with educational institutions.
