Two advisors from our company participated in the competition, and our representative, Mr. Sakurai, served as a critic.

The setting for the 2023 competition was Ninna-ji Temple in Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, which was built in 888 and remained a temple of the highest rank until the end of the Edo period (1603-1868) as a monastery with its abbot being a member of the imperial family.

Fifty-four students selected from all over Japan were divided into 10 groups to learn about the historical background and characteristics of the site while making follies.
