Architecture Student Workshop 2026 — Participating in an Advisory Meeting in Preparation for the Event at Horyuji Temple —

Asahi Building Wall Co., Ltd. (AGB) is participating as a sponsoring company in the architecture student workshop to be held in 2026. We have been sponsoring this workshop for 12 consecutive years. We have continued to participate because we believe there is value in passing on the practical knowledge gained through the actual process of “ Building ”.

This workshop is an educational program in which students go beyond mere design to engage with practical processes such as materials, structure, and construction while working on the creation of small architectural structures (Follies). In 2026, the workshop is scheduled to take place on the grounds of Horyu-ji Temple.

In addition to serving as a sponsoring company for this initiative, AGB will dispatch two of its employees to act as advisors and provide guidance on the students’ design and production processes. We aim to help bridge the gap between conceptualization and implementation from the perspective of façade engineering.

On April 7, 2026, an advisory meeting was held at Horyuji Temple, and our company participated. During the meeting, we shared and discussed the program’s progress and guidance policies, and made progress in establishing a support system for the students’ activities.

AGB will continue to engage in these educational and research activities to maintain connections with the next generation of leaders, while also continuing our efforts to share practical knowledge with society.
