A case study featuring our “sound veil” system was featured.

A case study featuring the installation on the 4th floor of the Asahi Building Wall headquarters has been published on the official “sound veil” website, operated by Otonoha Co., Ltd.

In December 2025, we renovated the fourth floor of our headquarters and installed “sound veil”, a sound device that combines plants and sound.

The fourth floor of the headquarters was designed around the concept of a “Brackish zone”, with the goal of creating a space where people and ideas naturally intersect. Rather than clearly dividing the space with walls or partitions, it incorporates continuity and open areas to allow for a variety of uses.

In this case study, we present interviews with three of our employees to discuss the background behind the renovation of the fourth floor of our headquarters, the reasons for adopting “sound veil”, our approach to zoning using sound, and how the space is actually being used.

“sound veil” was introduced not to physically separate the relaxation area, concentration area, and activity area, but to use sound to gently alter the character of each space. Furthermore, by integrating the device with the landscaping, we aim to achieve both an optimal sound environment and the creation of a green space.

We will continue to conduct experiments and evaluations regarding the work environment as we strive to create an office environment that fosters greater creativity.
