We Held the FY2026 AGB Disaster Prevention Council Safety Conference

On June 12, 2026, the “FY2026 AGB Disaster Prevention Council Safety Conference,” organized by the Asahi Building Wall Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “AGB”) Disaster Prevention Council, was held. A total of 127 people, including representatives from 70 partner companies, attended the event.

Preventing workplace accidents in the construction industry is a fundamental responsibility for all companies involved in construction sites. At AGB, we hold this annual event as an important opportunity to share safety awareness with our partner companies and to deepen mutual understanding and cooperation.

The event began with a moment of silence in memory of those who lost their lives in workplace accidents, followed by remarks from the chairperson of the AGB Accident Prevention Council and our company’s representative director, and the presentation of safety awards.

In addition, we heard a presentation from the Director of the Ueno Labor Standards Inspection Office of the Tokyo Labor Bureau regarding amendments to the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and our Construction Management Department also conducted a safety briefing. This provided an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of safety and health management at construction sites, while taking into account the latest trends in legislative amendments.

After the event concluded, we set up a special booth for our partner companies to provide guidance on the process of transitioning to electronic contracts for basic agreements. At AGB, in addition to safety management, we are committed to streamlining contractual and administrative procedures with our partner companies, and we will continue to work toward building a more seamless partnership.

As a company that handles every stage of facade projects—from planning and design to manufacturing and construction—AGB views safety management as a critical component of the manufacturing process. To ensure that the vision established during the design phase is faithfully realized on the construction site, we place great importance on fostering a shared awareness of safety and maintaining ongoing safety initiatives.
Moving forward, we will continue to work with our partner companies to raise safety standards and further strengthen our collaboration, striving to build a safe and reliable construction system.
